People and ideas that produce LITE films. Tailor-made. Since 1997.
Heribert Lipp-Terler founded the company in the 1990s for the production of PEEK films. A tremendous amount of entrepreneurial spirit and tireless efforts at the plant went into the development of the first LITE films.

In 2017, Mathias Daniel acquired the company. The machine capacity was extended to a production width of 630 mm and the production was set up in a clean room.

A reliable partner for 25 years.

    Location

    LITE’s new company location was constructed in accordance with high ecological standards and with the aim of creating the best possible working conditions. In February 2021, the groundbreaking ceremony for the new building took place. In April 2022, the gradual move began. Since May 2022 all LITE activities have been consolidated at one location.

    Clean room production

    Both, the extrusion lines for film extrusion as well as slitting lines for film conversion are installed in a clean room, class ISO 8 (acc. to ISO 14644). On demand the cleanliness class can be increased to ISO 7.

    CO2 Management and Corporate Carbon Footprint

    With the beginning of production at the new company location, LITE is committed to data collection and data management for corporate climate protection management.

04 Ecology and sustainability
LITE’s new company location was constructed in accordance with high ecological standards:
  • Building component activation in combination with the use of geothermal energy and brine/water heat pumps for cooling and heating the entire building.
  • Use of energy-efficient ventilation systems including heat recovery.
  • Use of a 200 kWp PV system on the roofs of the production and office areas.
  • Seepage of rainwater on the company’s own land.
  • Use of grey water.
  • Partially greened roof and facade areas.
  • Installation of an electric filling station.
